1. Navigate to My Time Tracking


  1. Log in to Focus HQ.
  2. Once logged in you will reach your Company’s Homepage. Go to the Top Navigation and click on ‘Time Tracking’. 

 

 

My Time Tracking is part of the Time Tracking functionality in the system where all tracked time for a particular user for all his tasks from across all projects he is assigned with. This is different from the Company Time Tracking, whose scope is across all users in the Company, and from the Project Time Tracking, whose scope is for a specific project user is assigned with.


This is the section where you can have a visibility of the time spent across all of your assigned projects in the Company. 




2. Input a Time Tracking Entry


1. Select an Activity Type for the Time Tracking Entry. You can choose either of the following:

Project - Time spent is for a Project
Non-project -Time spent is for hours outside a Project

 
If Activity Type selected is Project:

2. Select a Project in the Company to input Time Tracking entries.



3. Select a Workstream in the Project. If hours spent is not associated with a Workstream, select " --- Time assigned to project --- ".





If Activity Type selected is Non-Project:


2. Select a Non-Project activity in the Company to input Time Tracking entries. You can choose either of the following:


Internal HR - Company-related activities outside the Project. Options to choose are:
  • Annual leave
  • Available for project assignment
  • Long service leave
  • Other approved leave
  • Public holiday
  • Sick leave
  • Training & personal development

Adhoc - Any other related activity




3. If Non-Project Activity selected is Internal HR, select the appropriate option from the drop down list.



If Non-Project Activity selected is Adhoc, input the activity in the given text field.



4. Input the time allotted for each day in the Time Tracking entry.


5. To save your updates of the Time Tracking entries, click the "Save Draft" button.




6. To submit a Time Tracking entry for approval, click the "Save & Submit" button.


NOTE: Time booked to Non-Project activities is automatically approved.




7. To remove a Time Tracking entry, click the "x" button at the end of the row.

 


3. Filter My Time Tracking Details


My Time Tracking Details can be filtered by Portfolios/Projects.

 

Click the ‘All Portfolios/Projects’ drop down menu and then choose the desired data that you want to display. 




My Time Tracking Details can also be filtered by Period.

 

You can view a specific week of the month by adjusting the calendar or by clicking the ‘Next Week’ or ‘Last Week’ icon.


 




4. Download Time Tracking


Click the three-lined icon, and then select the format to download: 

  • Download CSV 
  • Download PDF 



The My Time Tracking Details will be saved directly to your device.
