Focus HQ is pleased to share with you the latest application enhancements which are being progressively rolled out to all users over the next two weeks. 

 

Release changes - summary 

The latest version of Focus HQ includes the following new functionality and improvements: 

  1. 1. Project Reporting while in Planning Phase

Release changes  detailed 

  

  1. 1. Project Reporting while in Planning Phase 

This functionality allows each user to generate Reports while project is in Planning Phase. 

This means that Reports module will be made available for a Planning Project. 

 

 

 

 

  1. 2. Project Schedule Enhancements 

 

This update provides additional features within schedule table for users to be able to Search and Filter tasks. 

  • Search textbox (top right of tile) 
  • WBS filtering drop-down 
  • Participant filtering drop-down 

 

  

 

 

 

3. Project Report: Select All/ Deselect All Functionality to Edit Draft Report 

    This feature allows user to easily select and deselect all "Email to" options. This saves time and effort manually 

    ticking/unticking each option. 

 

  

 

  

 

  1. 4. New SPA Views: Change Control, Time-Tracking, & Resourcing 

This update upgrades the pages to the new SPA frontend but keeps the existing functionality. This transition includes the Create and Update pages, the Details page as well as the Register page. 


The new SPA includes the COG wheel which allows users to customize and save table layouts.

  1. 5. Change Control: Design & Build Multiple Attach / Upload File 

This enhancement allows the user to upload multiple files (max5 files) to an individual change 

 request. The design includes displaying a progress bar, to display when files have been successfully 

 uploaded, to avoid the user closing the window prior to all files import completed. 

 

 

  1. 6. Company Time-Tracking – Ability to allocate Hours spent to all projects a user has access to

    This enhancement allows the user to manage/add/update all their hours spent against multiple projects within one screen, they no longer need to navigate to multiple screens to update the information. The user can allocate hours to all projects they have access to. 

     

    All time entered using the timesheet at Company Level will also appear in Project Time Tracking module for each individual project. User is able to continue to enter timesheet data at individual project level, all time entered will appear in the Company Level timesheet.
