Release changes – detailed
1. 2FA: Two-factor Authentication
A. 2FA – Two-factor Authentication (User level)
This functionality allows each user to enable and manage Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) for his/her own account. Once setup, the user will have to provide a 6-digit code from his mobile app on the login screen, in addition to his regular password.
B.2FA – Two-factor Authentication (Company Policy)
This functionality allows Companies to require their members to turn on MFA for their accounts.
If a user is required to have MFA by any of the companies that he is associated with, he will need to enable MFA.
2. SSO: Single Sign-On in Multi-tenant Environments
This update gives multiple customers the ability to use SSO on shared environments. Here, the Login form detects who the customer is based on the domain in the email address. This works for new users in the customer's directory without Focus HQ having to do a lot of coordination with the customer or adjust things (Just-in-time user provisioning).
3. Focus Insights: Full Screen
This enhancement allows users to view Focus Insight in full screen to which improves their ability to view and take a screenshot of the data.
4. New SPA Views: Homepage & Project/Portfolio Risks
A. Homepage to SPA
This update upgrades the Homepage to a new the frontend but keeping the current functionality and design. The purpose of the page is to provide links to core locations of the application while displaying some brief summary data about each of these application areas.
B. Project/Portfolio Risks to SPA
This enhancement transitions the Project and Portfolio Risks pages to the new SPA frontend. This includes the Risks Register, Risks Details and Risks Update pages.
5. Change Control: Historical Baselines
This enhancement allows Projects to update historical baseline costs through the use of an approved Scope Change Request.
Historical Baseline fields will be disabled until a valid Scope Change and baseline value is provided
6. Project Report: Select/Deselect
This feature allows user to easily select and deselect all "Email to" options. This saves time and effort in manually
ticking/unticking each option.
