Release changes - Summary


The latest version of Focus HQ includes the following new functionality and improvements:


1. Add 'Save' & 'Cancel' Button to the bottom of the Project Risk Form

2. Update Create Project Risk Form header 'Save' Button to include 'Save' Text

3. Update Header '!' Button to include 'Escalate/ Escalated' Text

4. Automatically Populate 'Notes' field based on edits made by User

5. New Schedule UI/UX (faster, better experience, new icons, etc)

6. Schedule: Actual comparison to Baseline or Forecast

7. Create portfolios without projects

Release changes – Detailed


1. Add 'Save and Cancel' Button to the bottom of the Project Risk Form

This functionality allow users to 'Save' and 'Cancel' created Project Risk in the bottom of the Form. In clicking the 'Save' and 'Cancel' button the functionality then navigates the user back to the 'view' page of the risk.

2. Update Create Project Risk Form Header 'Save' Button to include 'Save' Text 

This functionality allow users to distinguish the save button easily. The functionality includes the current 'Disk' icon and text that says 'Save. 


 


3. Update Header '!' Button to include 'Escalate / Escalated' Text 

This functionality allow users to view that the project risk has been escalated. The user can also set a risk item to escalation and can also de-escalate a project risk item. 




4. Automatically Populate 'Notes' field based on edits made by the user 

This functionality populate the 'Notes' field automatically with the fields that were updated within that sessionIn editing the risk, the user can proceed in saving the edited project risks without even providing Notes since the Notes field is automatically populated.

5. New Schedule UI/UX (faster, better experience, new icons, etc) 

This functionality creates the user interface for the schedule template. The User Interface includes the page that shows the available schedule templates including an image of the schedule and a description of the template, include the length in number of days for the template and show the start and end dates of the execution phase for the project as well as a count of the number of days.

6. Schedule: Actual comparison to Baseline or Forecast 

This functionality helps the user to compare roll up calculation from Forecast to Baseline within the design. In Schedule Overall Progress Bar, the calculation toggle has been developed for Forecast to Baseline. 

 

7. Create portfolios without projects 

 

This functionality allow users to create a Portfolio without Projects assigned on them. In Portfolio Setup, you can populate the fields in completing the creation of Portfolio. In Portfolio/Project Allocation section, the user can leave the allocation as empty. The user then creates a Portfolio without a Project assigned.
