You can check the video for a walkthrough of how to upload Risks in the project.

2. Upload Project Risk Items

1. To add bulk or multiple Project Risk items, click the Upload Risks button beside the +New Risk button.

2. In the Risks – CSV Import Details page, click the Upload Attachment field given that the Risk CSV import file has already been prepared prior to uploading. If the user has not prepared the import file click the Download Sample Data button to download a Risk CSV Import template which the user can fill-in with the necessary data to be uploaded.

3. In the Existing Data Handling the user can select Skip Rows, which leaves existing data as it is, or Overwrite Rows, which overrides existing data and replaces it with the current data in the content of the CSV import file.

4. Click Next to proceed with the upload.

5. In the Risks – CSV Import Mapping page, select the Saved Mapping option and choose PFHQ Risk Module Mapping from the drop-down list. This option is a Focus HQ pre-defined mapping that automatically maps all data from the CSV Import template in the Risk Module Data mapping so the user would no longer map the individual data in their respective data fields.

6. Double check all the data fields if they have the data mapped. Incorrectly mapped data fields will be displayed in RED text to notify the user that the data is mapped incorrectly or duplicated. Once all the data are mapped, click Import at the bottom middle part of the page.

7. The tool will notify that the import has commenced in a sub-window. Wait for a few seconds for the import to be completed.

8. If the tool encounters an incorrect data during the import process, the import will not go through. The errors will be displayed pointing the user to the specific Column and Rows to which the error is located and specifies the data entered incorrectly in the CSV import template.

NOTE: If the highlight of the error message where the “Error” word is displayed in RED text, the data in the CSV import template needs to be corrected. Clicking Skip Data or Use Default Data will result for the import to be unsuccessful.
Clicking Skip Data or Use Default Data when the “Error” word is displayed in YELLOW text will allow the import to go through as the error message serves only as a hint and the user may or may not correct the data.
