Release Notes: v1.0.20

The following are the major features included in this release:

 

  • Project Report > 1 Page Report
  • The user can customize a report to always fit in just 1 page – A4 size.
  • Can fit a maximum of 5 pieces of data for each section and still get an executive summary in for the PM'S own input but this summary is limited to 250 characters.
  • The users selects / unselects what data they do and do not want to display – but a MAXIMUM of 5 items per section can be selected)

 

  • Project Report > Monthly Reporting > Working Days
  • Send Schedule Day' will be based on a Working Day
    (Working Days’ = Monday to Friday (Saturday and Sunday are excluded)
    example: - Monthly Report = Working Day 10
    To Report on ‘October 2016’, the report will be sent on Monday 14th November (as ‘Sat 5th’, ‘Sun 6th’, ‘Sat 12th’ and ‘Sun 13th’ are not ‘Working Days’)

 

  • Project - Activity - Update: Can update the Start Date, End Date in the past 
  • We will allow user to update the start date/ end date in the past provided the date will still be in the current week. So if today is Friday, I can still update it to Monday still within the current week.

 

  • Project Risk/Issue > Resolved Risk/Issue > Resolution Date
  • After Resolving a Risk/Issue, Resolution date should be reflected.
  • It will be placed in Response Planning section

 

  • Project Schedule > New UI/Styling
  • IMPROVE the UI / styling with smaller HEIGHT rows, aggregated WBS levels have the sharp angels on them, etc
  • Fixed the colours within the gantt chart so that it is a LOT better from a UI perspective
  • Improved the icons (Activities Marker/Milestone Marker) to look simpler

 

  • Project Schedule > Predecessor
  • A Predecessor column and Line/Arrows to show the relationship between tasks
  • Dependencies which determine the order in which activities need to be performed includes:

0: Finish to Finish

1: Finish to Start

2: Start to Finish

3: Start to Start

 

  • Project Schedule > Participants
  • Implement a "Participants” column to see a list of participants that can be assigned to the task.
  • These participants can be more than 1 and they are those who work on the project or influence the project directly
  • The list is pulled from “ “Settings > Assigned Users"

 

  •  Project Schedule > CSV/MPP Import/Export
  • Import/Export with the addition of IDactivity, predecessor, participants
  • For Activity, user can set value True if they want to auto push the Schedule to Activity BUT if they set True for parent Schedule, the system must auto ignore it.
  • For the participant, if user try to import non-existing user-participant, system will ignore it.
  • For ID, we will import exactly ID in file CSV.

 

  •  Project Schedule > Start/End Date
  • The user can click right away on From/To date, and edit it via calendar selector right on the spot 
  • There is also a Sort option:
  • Ascending  by date
  • Descending by date

  • Updated design to match the new schedule UI/Styling

 

  • Project PDF download > Schedule
