Release Notes: v1.0.25

The following are the major features included in this release:

 

  • Company Settings > Team Management Section
  • Within 'Company Profile', there will be a 'User Team Management' - It will just manage the Teams (eg, Team ID, Team Name, # of Team Members)
  • Every new user MUST be assigned to a 'Team' and be displayed in the Team Member Page"
  • This can be filtered at the 'Company Department' level

 

  •  Main Portfolio / Sub Portfolio Updates
  • To be able to add Projects and Sub-Portfolios to a Main Portfolio.
  • To be able Filter data across modules based on Department 
  • Update Budget Management to be able to view the Budget at a Main Portfolio Level, Sub-Portfolio Level, Independent Portfolio, and Project Level.
  • Dashboard to be able to show which Portfolio is Main Portfolio, Sub-Portfolio and Independent Portfolio, which Sub-Portfolios are under a particular Main Portfolio, how many Sub-Portfolios a particular Main Portfolio has, etc.

 

  • Company Default Settings > Project Types > Work Streams
  • We will Manage Project Work Stream via Company >Default Project Settings >Project Type >Large
  • The following will be applied to a ‘New Company’s default ‘large’ Project Type and all newly added Project Types as the default option: Overall Project
  • We will still keep current logic to allow user to add work stream inside the project.

 

  • Project > Project Phases
  • 'Reporting > Project Status > Project Phase' – Change the population to being from the ‘Project Phases’ in the settings page (not a pre-populated field)
  • 'Deliverables > Project Phases' – Change the population to being from the ‘Project Phases’ in the settings page (not populated from ‘Milestones’)
  • We will still keep current logic to allow user add project phase inside the project but this time from settings page, not from schedule >milestone

 

  •  Reports > Unsaved Data Notifications 
  • When a User clicks "Cancel", "Back", other buttons/links/menu/modules in the sidebar when the user has not clicked Saved/Updated/Add, etc button to save the current changes made, a Notification pop-up msg should appear to say “ Please note that all Unsaved Data or Changes will be lost"
  • In that screen,
  • If clicked "Confirm", all unsaved data disappears as if it has not been entered.
  • If clicked "Cancel" the user is retained at the page where unsaved data has been entered.

 

  • Project Budget - Historical Data Saving 
  • Data saving for historical period, ETC and To Date Forecast                  
  • Fixing Budget Logic to match the data saving

 

  • Projects > updating "Risks", "Issues", "Deliverables", "Activities", "KPIs", etc - allow the 'End Date' or the 'Resolution Date' or the 'Update Date' to be ANY time in the CURRENT week
  • For updating "Risks", "Issues", "Deliverables", "Activities", "KPIs", etc - allow the 'End Date' or the 'Resolution Date' or the 'Update Date' to be ANY time in the CURRENT week (eg, if they were closing out a Deliverable and reconcile it every Friday, they can select the close out date to be on the just passed Monday)

  • Action Tracking Module
  • Action Tracking Module with the Ability to create ‘recurring Master Actions’ and sub-actions, etc (change ‘Action Audit’ name)

 

  • Action Tracking Home Dashboard
  • We will create an Action Tracking Home Dashboard
  • Where Users see tasks assigned to them from Particular projects

 

  • Resource Functionality Updates
  • Users need a way to adjust a resource ‘company capacity’ and ‘project capacity’ based on their ‘holidays’, ‘sick leave’, ‘adhoc internal commitments’, etc. This creates the need for capacity fluctuations during different periods

 

  • Systemwide PDF Visual Improvements
  • Visual improvement for more data to be displayed on a page, no splitting cells, aligned, good colour, etc
