- Project - Action Tracking: Update > Notes field within Action Tracking
- A field labelled as "Update Notes" has been added under the Update page to allow user to input notes against the Action for the updates that they have made.
- Within the Details page, for the Action, the Update Notes entered will appear in the Updates table.
- Project - Action Tracking: Create an Action, can include 'Other' labels as additional option
- Users can now create an 'Action' within the project that is not linked to a risk, issue, deliverable, etc.
- Project - Action Tracking: Action Module 'Type' Drop Down Selection
- The “Type" field has now become an editable field. It will have these options to select: Meeting, Action, Decision, Dependency, and Other.
- We have created an 'Other' option as well, if selected, a free text field will appear so that users can describe the type of Action.
- The Default is “Action" Type.
- Portfolio - Weekly Report: Add option Exclude weekends to not counting weekends on the draft period
- Under Portfolio Settings > Reporting Schedule > Weekly Reporting, a checkbox has been added, which is labelled as Excludes Weekends.
- When a user ticks the ‘Excludes Weekends’ checkbox, the weekends on the draft period will not apply any more.
Example: If a user sets a report Send Schedule to be Monday, then they will have the Draft 72-hour notification on Wednesday, the Due 24-hour reminder on Friday and the complete report on Monday.
- Projects & Portfolio’s – Risks: Add Column - Mitigation Plan
- A ‘Mitigation Plan’ field has been added and set as a mandatory field for Project and Portfolio level risks.
- The ‘Mitigation Plan’ data has been added in the ‘Escalated Risk’ section in all Project & Portfolio level reports, PDFs, and the Report View and PDFs.
- Portfolio – Reporting: Update RAG Status to Dynamically populate from Project Report
- Any update in a projects draft report RAG’s status (Budget, Schedule, Risks & Issues) will be automatically reflected within the Portfolio Level Report, no longer will the project report need to be sent before the RAG status is reflected.
- This dynamic population from the project level is only applicable for the most recently created draft report.
- The Portfolio levels ‘Project Summary’ section within the ‘Overview’ module will not update until the project report with the RAG status has been sent.
- Project – Schedule: Gantt Chart or Table
- Under Project Settings > Report Templates, a new filter was added to select if a report will either be displayed as a Gantt Chart or as a Data Table.
- Project - Action Tracking: Assign More Than One Resource To An Action
- Similar to Risks & Issues, ‘Actions’ now have a Participants section to add multiple users to an Action.
- Each user will receive emails based on updates made within the Action, if a new Action was created, etc.
- Portfolio & Project - Report: Ability to have Separate Comments Box for each Dashboard Tab
- Within a report, users can now enter commentary each individual Dashboard, instead of one commentary field for all Dashboards.
Planned Future Releases:
- Project, Program & Portfolio > Reporting Templates (Adhoc, One Page, Weekly & Monthly) > Last Day and Last Working Day option
- The ability to schedule a report for the Last day, when they select ‘Day’ option.
- The ability to schedule a report for the Last working day, when they select 'Working Day' option.
- The system will then send the report on the LAST DAY or LAST WORKING DAY of that month. (and 24, 72 & draft report will be generated based on what the 'Last Day’/Last Working Day is for that month).
- Project, Portfolio, and Program > Report Templates> Adhoc/One-page/Weekly/Monthly > Ability to Customize Draft Generation
- The ability to set a Customised date and time when a draft is generated (eg, can be 1 hour or can be 7 days).
- This means that another report can be generated and be editable straight after the current weekly/monthly report has been sent.
- Portfolio Report > Adhoc/One-page/Weekly/Monthly > Manually Choose which Risks/Issues Appear at the Portfolio Level
- The ability to select / deselect specific risks/issues only in Reports.
- Module Webview and Download PDF will still display all Risks & Issues.
Dashboard Enhancements:
- Ability to force columns and formulas from a Portfolio level to all current & new Projects automatically to ensure a project is tracking all required data.
- Portfolio to Project forced columns and formulas can automatically be calculated together at the Portfolio level without updating formula’s (eg, add a new project and the Dashboard Data columns are automatically calculated into the Portfolio level).
- All formula’s that are being calculated with only partial data (eg, 1 or more cells included in the calculation is empty), will show the total partial calculation but also include a warning icon to indicate it is not complete data.
