  • Company>Portfolio Default Settings and Portfolio Settings Page > Add Table for "Access Levels for Project Phases"
  • This update will give Portfolio Level users the access to Projects belonging to its Main Portfolio and its Sub-Portfolios even if the user is not added on the Project settings page.
  • We will add in Company>Portfolio Default Settings page and Portfolio Settings page, the "Access Levels (for Project Phases)" table



  • There will be dropdown options (None, View Update) for each Row/Column combination across all Project Phases (Phase 0 – 6):
  • + Phase 0: only have None and Update option
  • + Phase 6: only have None and View option.
  • Note:  This Access Levels is applicable only to projects that belongs to a Portfolio
  • e.g. Main Portfolio > Access Levels set is applicable to projects that belongs to the Main Portfolio and Projects that belongs to its Sub-Portfolio/s.
  • For Existing 'Portfolios' and 'Portfolio Default Template', we will have all sections as 'NONE' (e.g., Meaning all are NOT ticked)
  • For New Portfolios, see below for Default Value configurations:



  • Company>Portfolio Default Settings and Portfolio Settings Page > (Comp Port/ Main Port/ Sub-Port / Ind Portfolio) > Approvals and Notifications for Project Lifecycle Stage Gate
  • This update will give Portfolio Level users the Approver rights to Projects that are directly under its Portfolio. If it is a Main Portfolio, Approver rights is limited only to Projects under the Main Portfolio, not to Projects under its Sub-Portfolios. The governance and approvals MUST go to the portfolio that the projects are assigned.
  • We will add in Company>Portfolio Default Settings page and Portfolio Settings page, the "Approvals and Notifications for Project Lifecycle Stage Gate" table



  • Definition:
  • + Initiator: The user who can click Button "Submit for Review"
  • + Approver: The user who can click Button "Approval" or "Cancel" or "Reverse" to change the project from one phase to another.
  • For the notification: only send email notification to the Portfolio Level user/s which are ticked at Portfolio > Approvals and Notification for Project Lifecyle Stage Gate Table. This is a notification that the Project has been approved to move to the next phase.
  • Note:
  • For Existing 'Portfolios' and 'Portfolio Default Template', we should have all sections as 'BLANK' (e.g., Meaning all are NOT ticked)
