Label | Name to define the stage within the project lifecycle |
Phase 1 (New Opportunity) | A phase where new Opportunity projects are created. They are used to categorize project based on their Project Category and to allow for quick reference. |
Phase 2 (Approved Opportunity) | A phase where the Opportunity projects are approved. They are used to categorize opportunities based on status, category and priority, which also allows for quick reference. |
Phase 3 (Full Kitting) | A phase where the projects are not yet ready to start because they are still being kicked off. They are used to categorize projects based on their readiness to begin execution and their stage of approval in the company. |
Phase 4 (Delivery) | A phase where the projects are Live. In here, project budgets, resources, timeline, and trends are monitored to track project success. |
Phase 5 (Benefits Tracking) | A phase where the project tracks the business benefits identified and are assessed. |
Phase 6 (Closed) | A phase where the project closes. |
Project Lifecycle | The standard process followed by nearly all project managers when moving through stages of project completion. With initiation, planning, execution and closure, teams follow the phases. And when delivered well, project success is achieved. |
