1. Navigate Cost Performance Chart

 

1. Within the Project Overview module, navigate to the ‘Cost Performance Chart’.

 

‘Cost Performance Chart‘ can filtered by the following options:

  • Click ‘6m’ to view the project cost details in 6 months
  • Click ‘YTD’ to view the project cost details from the start of the project to current date
  • Click ‘1Y’ to view the project cost details in 1 year
  • Click ‘All’ to view the project cost details from start of the project up to the end of the project

  

Note: Overview page is only for viewing. Cost Performance Chart can be managed via Budget page.

 


2. To view the Project Trend, hover over the ‘Trend’ at the top right of the ‘Cost Performance Chart’ section.

 

Cost Performance Chart > Trend

  • Trend Period: A ‘‘Trend Period’ is equal to 1 calendar week 
  • Trend History: Displays the previous 4 periods of the trend
  • Current Trend Update Frequency: Every update, edit, addition, etc to the Budget section within the current trend period


Trend Icon:

  • Improved: If the ‘Actual Cost’ for the period (month) is less than or equal to -5% of ‘Planned Costs’
  • No Change: If the ‘Actual Cost’ for the period (month) is between -5% and +5% of ‘Planned Costs’
  • Worsened: If the ‘Actual Cost’ for the period (month) is greater than or equal to +5% of ‘Planned Costs’
