1. Validation within a Project Schedule
A user is unable to create or update a task with dates outside the Project Dates for both Pipeline and Execution Schedules online within the schedule, this applies to attempts to change in both Grid Table or Task Information Box.
- Use calendar – user will notice that dates outside project dates are greyed out, therefore unable to select.
- Manually type in date – the date box will be marked in RED and when user hits enter the date be unchanged, user will need to re-enter correct date.
As a safety net should the system accept an invalid date, a Constraint violation pop-up will appear giving the user options to cancel or accept option to change to projects dates.
