1. Project Budget Delete Custom Budget
It is not possible to delete the custom budget field at individual project level.
Two options:
A. Clear/remove the Custom Budget values
B. Hide the custom budget data set field and as this is managed at company level will apply to all projects.
A. To clear/remove the Custom Budget values:
- Select ‘Budget’ from the sidebar menu.
- Navigate to ‘Detailed Cost’ table.
- Click on the ‘Budget Item ID’ or "WBS" of the cost to be updated to navigate to the Budget – Cost Details page.
- Click the ‘Update’ button within the ‘Budget – Cost Details’ page.
As this is a customized budget, changes can be made to past, current and future months and the Custom Budget total will automatically calculate the total based on the monthly values entered.
- Clear/remove the monthly Custom Budget values within the ‘Custom Data Set’ field for any or all of the periods you want.
- Custom Budget values can be updated across all periods (past, current, future)
- Click ‘Update Cost’ to save the details.
The Custom Budget values will show as empty within the Cost Details page.
The monthly Custom Budget values will also be cleared/removed within the Detailed Cost Table - Custom Budget "Period" and "To Date" columns
B. To hide Custom Budget Data Set, go to Company Settings page:
- Go to Custom Budget Data Set section
- Click the "edit icon" at the rightmost portion of the section
To hide/deactivate the Custom Budget Data Set, toggle it OFF and click "Update" button.
